From Studio to Stage

Blanka Barbara has recently curated the electrifying event Concrete Lates x Rave: Recharge at the Southbank Centre, and she was commissioned by the Belarus Free Theatre to craft and perform original dance music for their latest production. Her vibrant compositions also take centre stage in KS6: Small Forward, a theatrical collaboration with Katya Snytsina, the captain of the London Lions basketball team. This dynamic project, which ran for three weeks at La Mama Theatre in Manhattan (September 2024), toured the US, and culminated in a sold-out run at London’s Barbican Centre in February 2025.

Behind the Decks

As a DJ, Blanka Barbara has graced the stage alongside iconic singer-songwriter Laurie Anderson at the Bridge for Hope Gala at the Václav Havel Center in New York, sharing the celebratory atmosphere with American superstar drag queen Sasha Velour, where her original music crafted a deeply immersive backdrop for Velour's mesmerizing artistry. She also collaborated with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jinadu on his latest album and spun alongside luminaries such as Sasha, Catz and Dogz, Maceo Plex, Cid Inc, Hernán Cattaneo, Lane 8, and Pig & Dan.

Blanka Barbara has built a reputation for electrifying performances at some of London’s most revered venues, including Ministry of Sound, HEAVEN, The Egg, Dalston Den, Low Profile, The Steelyard, and Lafayette. Promoters consistently applaud her ability to ignite the dance floor, as her sets become masterclasses in high-energy selection and seamless mixing.

Beyond the Studio

Furthermore, on September 30, 2024, Blanka Barbara shared the stage with famed singer-songwriter Laurie Anderson at the Bridge for Hope Gala at the Vaclav Havel Center in New York – a night filled with remarkable individuals and their avant-garde performances. She also delivered a mesmerising performance alongside American superstar drag queen Sasha Velour, where Blanka Barbara’s music created an intensely atmospheric backdrop to Velour's iconic artistry.
