Blanka Barbara’s igniting live DJ sets are praised by influential promoters at London’s iconic venues Ministry of Sound, The Egg, Dalston Den, Low Profile, The Steelyard. In autumn 2022, Blanka performed at Koggala Festival in Sri Lanka,, Techno Las Festival in Poland, and made her debut in Amsterdam during ADE. 2023 started for Blanka with the highly-anticipated live performance for PM:AM in London, a headlining DJ set at the prestigious Clique Club in Malta and a return to The Steelyard for Fox&Badge's 'FERAL' event.

 

Being a Proton Curator DJ for Spotify and Apple Music, Blanka Barbara hosts her own monthly show Blanka Barbara Welcomes on iconic Data Transmission Radio, with many highly creative dj mixes gaining popularity among fans and peers in the industry. Blanka Barbara’s intuition, immaculate taste, and sought-after production skills led her to release music on such highly esteemed labels as This Never Happened, Natura Viva, Club Sweat, J00FRecordings, Juicebox Music, Particles, Modern Agenda, ICONYC Noir.

 

In October 2023 Blanka Barbara won 1st prize in the remix competition organised by the Change the Beati nitiative (former 23by23) in partnership with Native Instruments, Label Radar and the Australian label ClubSweat. Her club-friendly interpretation of Nala’s ‘Growth’ single instantly caught the attention of the industry and fans alike, landing her remix on Spotify’s highly popular editorial playlist “New Dance Beats”.
